FotoDecor Primer
A water-based fixative creates an insulating alkaline-resistant film that has been designed to improve the adhesion and durability of finishings. When used in combination especially with ECOPITTURA® FOTODECOR and selected raw materials, the product provides PHOTOCATALYTIC characteristics
The PHOTOCATALYTIC properties of the formulation allow for the oxidation of pollutants and their subsequent transformation into harmless residual substances.
- “Cleaning” effect of pollutants by means of the decomposition of micro-organisms that dirty surfaces.
- Antibacterial and anti-mould action by means of photocatalytic oxidation-reduction.
For any type of new construction materials like wall coverings, cement, concrete, chalk, lime or previous coverings that are in poor condition.
Surfaces to be treated must be dry, clean and even. If necessary, prepare the surface by filling in cracks and compacting brittle areas. To be applied with a brush or roller. Dilute with 5-6 parts of water. N.B. You are advised to apply FOTODECOR when the weather is good but not in direct sunlight or when it is windy. These factors can prolong drying times and harm both appearance and photocatalytic performance. The film normally takes from between 8 – 10 days to dry completely and the effects of rainwater can be the appearance of ugly translucent, sticky patches. These patches do not affect the protective properties of the product and they disappear when washed or subjected to subsequent rainfall.

- Covering capacity - 10 m2/l depending upon type of material.
- Colour - Colourless when dry
- Storage - Keep in a warm dry place
- Application temperature - Between 5° and 35°C
- Drying time at 25°C - 1 hour finger dry
- Viscosity (20°C, Ford 4 Cup) - 20 seconds
